The recipes on this site are presented as examples of the variety of cat food that may be created with complete nutritional balance. They were designed with the "Feline Nutritional Analysis" program which performs a detailed and precise analysis of all essential nutrients in a recipe. [Preview] Data used is taken from the USDA Nutrient Database applied to diet profiles based on the nutrient requirements of cats as published by the AAFCO. The profiles are further optimized to follow clinical and life-stage recommendations from the Mark Morris Institute's "Small Animal Clinical Nutrition". Unless specifically indicated, these recipes haven't been taste-tested, but should appeal to many cats.
