Brown fresh meats first on all sides. Next add rice or pasta with sufficient liquid to cover, put lid on pan, and simmer at low heat until the meat falls apart. Add liquid as needed. (A slow-cooker or crock pot would be ideal).

Seasonings may be added during this time, vegetables in the last half-hour of cooking. If cheese is used it should be shredded and dusted with flour to avoid clumping and stirred in with liquid toward the end.

All supplements should be thoroughly mixed in after the recipe has cooled from cooking temperature, then the batch may be chopped, mashed and/or blended to the consistency your cat prefers.

When the batch is complete divide into daily portions (see the Portion Calculator). Servings which won't be used within a day or two should be frozen.
